CSI Sun is a member of the North American Solar Stores retail network (NASS). This international network of retail solar showrooms has been created to enhance the buying experience for folks like you who want to take control of your electric, hot water and heating bills. The NASS network has been created to ease the frustration and confusion experienced by customers as they seek out reliable, dependable and accurate information on a solar system.
CSI Sun is the renewable energy division of Chimney Specialists Inc. (CSI). CSI is a Wisconsin and Iowa corporation with a proven track record. Our reputation in Southwest Wisconsin, Northeast Iowa and Northwest Illinois is unparalleled. Since 1977, CSI has been working in the alternative and renewable energy fields. In addition to solar electric and thermal energy, we have been providing clients with expert advice and high quality wood-burning, pellet and gas fireplaces, stoves and inserts for over three decades. CSI Sun evaluates, designs and installs solar electric or solar thermal systems for residential, commercial and agricultural clients. By combining traditional alternative energy appliances with solar, our company can offer a much broader array of cost effective products and solutions to clients as they seek energy independence.We all know that “solar” is a huge part of the future of alternative and renewable energy for our country. So, offering solar systems to our clients became a natural progression in our company’s evolution as a regional alternative energy provider.
As a North American Solar Store member, CSI Sun takes part in ongoing training at the NASS Solar Training Institute. This training keeps CSI Sun technicians up to date on the latest products, techniques and industry standards. The curriculum was created in partnership with the MREA and ISPQ Certified Master Trainer and Instructor, Chris LaForge. Participants in the Solar Training Institute must complete extensive requirements that include classroom education, system planning and hands-on installations. |
